The Residenz was created from a late medieval building, which had been called the Hotel Post for centuries. Heinz Winkler purchased the premises in 1989 and rebuilt them into his modern, though tradition-conscious Residenz. Displaying great personal commitment and imprinting his personal style, the owner himself oversaw the renovation and build-out of the former Hotel Post. In accord with his own ambitions, Heinz Winkler's endeavours do not only aim at ensuring the culinary wellbeing of his guests; he completely and utterly lives up to his commitment and is "the good spirit of the house".
In the elegant “Venetian Restaurant” and in the bright, sun-lit “Garden parlour” you will enjoy the highlights from our star kitchen.
